A 4th of July in NYC

Hope you all had an amazing 4th of July! ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸

New York City usually does its own disappearing act for the special Holidays, everybody seems to have somewhere else better to be ... whether it's the Hamptons, the Jersey Shore, or an actual Vacay far away from the hustle and bustle ... (Myself included.)

But this year, maybe because the Holiday fell on a Wednesday, or just because, I decided to spend the day in New York with family and friends. We first went to see the very much anticipated Hot Dog Contest in Coney Island where Mr. Chestnut swallowed down a staggering 64 Hot Dogs in 10 minutes,  and we later snacked our afternoon away awaiting the Macy's Fireworks from the Long Island Waterfront. Let me just say this, the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks are by far some of the best Fireworks you'll ever see which could warrant you staying in NYC for the next 4th of July celebration!

So if next year, you are "stuck" in the City (voluntarily or not) for America's Birthday, you can still make it a fun and adventurous day!
