WELCOME!

New York is a vibrant city. You probably have heard, it never sleeps. And as Frank said again and again: "If you can make it here you can make it anywhere."

It's a concrete jungle where dreams are made. More than 8.5 million people from all over the world call the Big Apple home, and another 60 million or so visit it every year.

That happens for a good reason: no matter what you love or which are your interests – art, food, architecture, photography, shopping, sightseeing, theater, music, romance, adventure, exploration – New York is the place where you can find it all and much more.

It's a new surprise on every corner, every day. It's a dream in every heart. Just have your eyes and sensibility open. In New York you can learn a new thing every single day. In New York you can make your dream come true. So, why not give it a try?

Breakfast at Tiffany's

A Blue Box Cafe Awaits You!

By Irene Toscano

This is what Breakfast at Tiffany's looks like!

The Movie, The Icon, The Legend became a Reality!

A Café has finally opened on the 4th floor of Tiffany's & Co flagship store on 5th Avenue.

We all know the location from the countless times we walked by, from the movies, the photographs, the books, the magazines but mainly because that is where 50-some years ago the incredibly talented Audrey Hepburn stood window-gazing sipping on a classic New York Cup of Joe and munching on Croissant a with an elegance that will probably transcend time and generations.

Intro to Breakfast at Tiffany's - 1961

Nobody else could have made drinking coffee from a paper cup and eating while standing quite so fashionable!

Well, from now on, you don't have to stand on the sidewalk pretending to have Breakfast at Tiffany's anymore. Since this past weekend, the much-awaited cafe, The Blue Box Cafe, has opened to the public serving Breakfast, Lunch and High Tea - just a classic.

Right on the NW corner of the building, 4th floor,  if you are lucky (like me) you will seat on plush tiffany-blue couches overlooking 5th Avenue with Central Park, Bergdorf & Goodman and the Plaza as your backdrop. It looks like even the view has "Tiffany" sparkled all over it ...

Check-out the video I made of my Tiffany adventure, you can get an idea of what's in store for you when you'll go.

My Breakfast at Tiffany's Adventure

Needless to say the place has been booked for the past week, actually, they don't take reservations, you will need to check in and leave your name and number for the next available table, that is if you are lucky enough to get seated the same day.

My friend and I went there at 9:30 am on a raining Monday morning thinking to avoid the line, at least partially and be able to get some breakfast. Turned out we were "lucky" because we could get a table at 2:30 pm! It worked out pretty well for us anyway, and I ended up trying the High Tea instead of Breakfast which I loved. Anyway, be ready to suffer to get the coveted spot!

One thing I've kept hearing ever since  ..."I wonder why they didn't do it sooner ... I always said that they had to serve Breakfast at Tiffany!" Well, now we have it - Have fun guys!
