Human talent and creativity have no limits. Photographer Stephen Wilkes was able to capture a day in New York in a single picture? That is what we can see in his “Day to Night” series, where his time-lapse photos capture the transformations of the Big Apple from sunrise till sunset.

What is the technique to obtain such artistic image? Well, you would need to spend up to 15 hours at a single spot. Stephen did that taking up to 1000 pictures of each location. The final image is a result of blending about 50 different photos, so the change of light is very subtle and gradual. A city that never sleeps is what New York looks like in Stephen’s pictures.
